DOOMRIDERS Named 'Outstanding Metal/Hardcore Band' At BOSTON MUSIC AWARDS

Salem, Massachusetts-based metallic quartet DOOMRIDERS, which is fronted by CONVERGE and OLD MAN GLOOM's Nate Newton, was honored in the "Outstanding Metal/Hardcore Band of the Year" category at this year's Boston Music Awards. The ceremony took place last night (Sunday, December 7) at the Roxy (Pearl and Underbar) and highlighted the best new music released by artists with close ties to Boston in all genres of music. Musicians with close ties to Boston that have released an album between June 2007 and August 2008 were eligible.
